Business Development Executive - UK


•   To focus upon sales of the Envestry™ white-labelled equity funding platform to Licensees.
•   To develop a prospects list of potential Licensee targets
•   To help produce and distribute a monthly newsletter and to help organise regular events with Licensees 
•   To work with the team in creating new test Platforms for potential Licensees
•   To approach prospects and close sales
•   To assist in on-boarding new signed up clients to ensure 

Person Description

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £27,500 pa basic plus opportunity to make commission after 6 months

Investment Analyst

Suitable for recent Graduate seeking training and professional development in venture capital and corporate finance.

Full-time position
Pay: Basic of £27,500 plus discretionary bonus of up to £5,000 
Term: Two years
Start date: November 2017
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays 
Place of work: Central London

Training and Professional Development Outcomes

In the first year: Working alongside an Investment Manager and directly with the Directors of the business in all aspects of fundraising for early-stage businesses.
In the second year: Training towards corporate finance exams (CF30) to become an Approved Person as defined by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).  Subject to completing and passing the FCA exams, the candidate will be put on the FCA Register. 

Key Tasks

Working directly with early stage companies looking to raise finance
Working with an Envestors Investment Manager and Director to complete an Investment Note.  This includes meeting the company (with an Envestors Director), reviewing the business plan and financial projections, and using the business plan to compile the Investment Note. 
Assisting with researching potential investors (both private and institutional) and arranging investor meetings. 
Facilitating investment meetings and interest from private investors.
Closing investment for early stage / high growth companies.
Setting up a follow-on monitoring programme with the investee companies.


Graduate, with competency in accountancy and basic corporate finance
Entrepreneurial flair and enthusiasm for early stage venture
Very well organised & strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with client company directors, HNWI private investors and venture capital funds
Ability to deliver to deadlines
Perfect written and spoken English
Good computing skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Work well in a small team environment and under own initiative
